About Credentials

Credential means something that gives a title to credit or confidence.

The focus here is towards credentials in the domains of coaching, mentoring and supervision.

With an ICF Credential, coaches demonstrate their knowledge, skill, and commitment to high ethical and professional standards.

EMCC Global Accreditation gives your clients and employers, your peers, and your community reassurance about how you are maintaining professional standards and are adhering to a shared Global Code of Ethics.

Both organizations ICF and EMCC Global are underlining two elements for a credential’s owner:

  • Demonstration of knowledge and skills via a portfolio of evaluation methods consisting of online exams,  submitting sessions ‘vocal registrations, essays and so on;
  • Adherence to code of ethics.

Both elements are concluded in what we call professional standards.

Obtaining an accreditation then maintaining it and even upgrading it (where possible it means a lot of continuous learning and development. It means hundreds of hours of practice

The holders pursue and complete rigorous education and practice requirements that provide unquestioned legitimacy to their commitment to excellence in coaching, mentoring and supervision.

Holding a credential by ICF or EMCC Global as a coach, mentor and supervisor provides a level of credibility that sets you apart from other coaches who might have not completed a rigorous program.
